With today’s highly complex automobiles, it only makes sense to make sure that you are protected against expensive breakdowns and repairs.  We sell reliable vehicles, and we make sure that they are inspected and fully reconditioned before sale, but even the best diligence cannot prevent all mechanical failures.  With our Extended Warranty Plans, you can be protected against some of these major expenses.  We offer a wide variety of plans, from the very basic powertrain to “all inclusive” coverage.

We offer extended warranties from American Assurance Corporation for an added cost should you require peace-of-mind with your used truck purchase.  Please ask your sales associate for details!

 

A basic 3 month/3,000 mile powertrain warranty will include:

ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts including: crankshaft, rod and main bearings, camshaft, cam bearings, connecting rods, wrist pins, pistons, piston rings, valves and replaceable valve guides, valve retainers, hydraulic or solid lash adjusters, rocker arms, push rods, cam followers, timing chains and gears, balance shafts and bearings; oil pump assembly.  All internal parts within the supercharger/turbocharger housing.  The engine block, cylinder barrels, cylinder heads, oil pan, engine oil dipstick, engine oil dipstick tube, timing cover/timing case, and valve cover are covered only if damaged by the failure of a covered internally oil lubricated engine part.

TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE: All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission case including: front pump, torque converter, governor, main shaft, bands, drums, gear sets, bearings, bushings, synchronizers, vacuum modulator valve, internal linkage, transmission filler tube and dipstick.  Transmission, torque converter, and transfer case housings are covered if damaged by the failure of an internally oil lubricated covered part.

DRIVE AXLE (FRONT & REAR): All internally lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing, axle shafts, CV joints, drive shafts, universal joints.  Drive axle housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

SEALS & GASKETS: Seals and gaskets are covered in conjunction with the repair and replacement of the aforementioned parts.  Stand-alone replacement coverage varies by program.

WATER PUMP

AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor, clutch, field coils and pulley, expansion valve, POA valve, accumulator, receiver/dryer, orifice tube, high/low pressure cut-off switches, pressure cycling switch

ELECTRICAL: Alternator, voltage regulator, starter motor, ignition switch, front and rear window wiper motor, headlamp switch, turn signal switch, rear defogger switch, ,heater/AC blower speed switch, power window motor, power door lock actuator and switch

FUEL: Fuel delivery pump, fuel injection pump, and metal fuel delivery lines

BRAKES: Master cylinder, vacuum/hydraulic assist booster, front and rear disc brake calipers, wheel cylinders, proportioning valve, metal brake lines and fittings, backing plate, mounting hardware, self adjusters, brake pedal shaft

SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control-arm shafts and bushings, upper and lower ball joints, king pins, spindle and support, stabilizer bar, torsion bars, radius arms and bushings

STEERING: All internally lubricated parts contained within the steering gear box, rack and pinion assembly, control valve, power steering pump and pulley, power cylinder assembly, power steering cooler, pitman arm, idler arm, 2 wheel and 4 wheel steering shaft and coupler
